I. WELCOME

   A. Sign-In

   B. Purpose: Build a safe and supportive learning environment in order to improve academic achievement through these goals:

        - Build the collective skills and competencies of McKinley faculty to provide caring, safe,

   supportive learning environments

- Build ongoing, dialogue-centered learning relationships among faculty

- Harness the creativity and vision of faculty to develop proposals and professional development

   that will affect policy and climate

 

C.  Overview : We will pilot in-depth, school-wide professional learning communities at McKinley High School.

The PLC's will be aimed at modeling effective instructional strategies and building the collective skills and

competencies of the McKinley faculty to provide a caring, safe, supportive learning environment in which high

expectations are maintained for all McKinley students.
